Is your business a sitting duck?
Seven signs your business might be in trouble
Architecture, engineering, and construction firms rely on a constant flow of project files, cloud systems, mobile devices, vendors, subcontractors, and client information. That makes the work efficient, but it also means a small gap in the wrong place can become a much bigger problem later.
Our 7-Point Security Check looks at the core areas that can leave an AEC business exposed, from identity and phishing protection to backups, endpoint security, and third-party access. It’s a practical way to see where your cybersecurity foundation may need attention before a small weakness turns into an expensive project.
Managed IT Support Built Around Engineering Workflows
Collaboration Across Clients, Contractors, and Consultants
Engineering firms spend a lot of time working across other people's systems. One project may involve architects, contractors, municipalities, utility providers, environmental consultants, and clients, all sharing drawings, reports, specifications, and technical documentation in different ways.
Systems Support helps firms organize collaboration through Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and cloud platforms so project information stays easier to find, share, and trust. For firms feeling the strain of disconnected systems and ad hoc decisions, a clear IT roadmap can help bring more structure to the way technology supports project work.
Remote Work Without Losing Access to Critical Information
Engineers rarely spend every day at the same desk. Between client meetings, project reviews, municipal coordination, site visits, and hybrid work, teams need reliable access to project files wherever the work takes them.
Systems Support helps firms build secure remote access around Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, laptops, and mobile devices so engineers can stay productive without creating security gaps or relying on unnecessary workarounds. Our Microsoft 365 services and cloud services help support that flexibility.
Large Project Files and Version Control
Engineering projects generate large volumes of data, from CAD drawings and plans to reports, specifications, calculations, and project archives. As those files spread across shared drives, cloud platforms, email attachments, and local storage, finding the correct version becomes harder.
Systems Support helps firms organize project information across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, servers, and cloud environments so teams spend less time searching for files and more time focused on billable work.
Cybersecurity and Protection of Engineering Data
Engineering firms are trusted with sensitive project information, client records, proposals, contracts, and technical documentation. A compromised account, phishing email, ransomware attack, or poorly managed permission structure can disrupt active projects and create unnecessary risk.
Systems Support helps firms strengthen cybersecurity services through MFA, email protection, endpoint security, monitoring, user training, and secure file access. As we discuss in our article on business email compromise, project-driven businesses are often targeted through trusted relationships and time-sensitive communication.

We help organize Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, cloud access, and permissions so project information remains accessible, secure, and easier to manage without creating version-control problems that can slow down project coordination.

Our goal is to help create reliable systems that support technical work instead of interrupting it.
Proactive management and fast response - Engineering deadlines do not leave much room for recurring technology problems. Whether your team is responding to client requests, preparing submissions, coordinating with project partners, or working through active reviews, small IT issues can quickly become productivity issues. Systems Support helps address problems early and provide responsive support when employees need assistance.
Cybersecurity and data protection for sensitive project information - Engineering firms are trusted with plans, drawings, reports, calculations, proposals, contracts, and confidential client information. Systems Support helps protect that data with practical cybersecurity controls, secure access management, email protection, backup planning, employee awareness training, and support for cyber insurance and client security expectations.
Flexible support without long-term contracts - Systems Support gives engineering firms a local IT partner without locking them into a long-term agreement.
